1st time ever making pierogis and a learning curve is needed. I will say, they came out tasting great and looking great due to using the pierogi form. The recipe I used stated it was for 2 1/2 dozen. Somehow, with the form it only made a little more than a dozen. Maybe this form has them bigger than standard pierogis?!? After they were pressed, I flipped the form over and I had to manipulate them a little to get them out of the form. In the recipe it just called for using a 2” round cutter for the dough. I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because I am thinking it may have been easier to use a 2” round cutter then crimp the edges with a fork. However, they looked like professional pierogi’s with this form. And like stated, this was only the1st time attempting to make pierogies and to use this form.
