Perfect pizzelles
it made beautiful pizzelles but a little too brown, hope you have a tip you could leave. I was thinking an oil recipe over butter would tolerate a higher heat.
I received this iron from my husband as a Christmas gift. It is perfect. I've used several different irons in my time. We perder thin delicate cookies. This makes just that. The recipe in the book is a good one. It takes 30-35 seconds per round. Browns evenly. Make sure you wash the plates well and discard the first couple sets. There may be some metal flakes from manufacturing. I found one in the first round but none after that. I inspected them throughly.
