have i ever tried any other pizzelle press? no. but my grandma had this one, so does my mom, and i have one too that i got secondhand. this will last forever. every time i take it out i think about how much i love this thing and how special and wonderful it is. i love the little noises it makes when its heating up/cooling down. as a professional baker disgruntled about how quickly every piece of equipment breaks and how automated everything is, i just think this piece of equipment is extremely perfect.
my friends are getting married today and i just finished making some orange blossom pizzelle (among a few other sweets) for their reception cookie table, and i'm thinking about how i have been literally using this since i was a child and soon i am applying for licensing and starting my own baking business. anyway thanks for making this please never change it.

Palmer Mfg. and their irons are the best! I called to ask about the thickness of the pizzelle and spoke with a very nice lady who walked me through my concerns. I requested a proof of the engraving I wanted ... received it quickly and placed the order. The iron arrived quicker than I expected. I adjusted the family recipe a bit, for consistency, and my pizzelles come out just the way I like them. While the pizzelles are a bit thicker in profile than some other irons the grid design is deeper with thin ridges... if you know what I mean. They come out nice and crunchy. I shipped 4 dozen to my daughter across the country and they arrived unbroken. The iron is very well made right here in the USA! The engraved name is quality and looks great on the pizzelle. I am very happy with this purchase... the customer service, tasty results from the iron, and compliments I am receiving from my friends and family!

My mother had hers since she was a little girl bought hers in South Philly which is the same one you carry now. I love it and it's the best one ever.
