We have been using THIS brand for over 50 years! Tried a few others but none compared to this one. Handed the original one my Grandfather purchased down to 5 generations. Have bought several more for friends and other family. Going to buy another. Also have their Pitzell iron!

Only after receiving this order, and looking very closely at my dad's very old (yet still in great shape) one did I realize they were the same company. Perfect campfire pie maker! Solid quality, latch to keep it closed could be a little better but works good enough.
I own five cast iron Palmer 'Sandwich Toasters', the oldest is 30+ years old? It has Red painted handles. I just bought one for my youngest for Christmas; her favorite gift this year!
While there are others out there that are "good", the Palmer cast iron 'Sandwich Toaster' is the best that you can buy.
