French Gaufrette

            The Perfect Ice Cream Sandwich – will make 2-3 doz. Cookies

 

1 Cup of Whipping Cream                      1 Cup of Flour

1 Egg                                                     1/2 Cup of Margarine

3/4 Cup of Powdered Sugar                   1/2 tsp. of Salt

·       Beat cream until it begins to thicken

·       Blend in remaining ingredients

·       Add to batter to iron

·       Close lid and clip handle together

·       Allow to cook until steaming stops about 30 – 55 seconds

·       Remove with fork to cool on wire rack

·       Add choice of ice cream in the middle of 2 cookies

Best irons to use: Model 1110, Model 1120, Model 1130 or Model 1300T
