Extra Thin Pizzelles

Extra Thin Pizzelles

Yields approximately 180 pizzelles

  • 2 sticks soft butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 extra large eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 cups of milk*
  • 6 cups of flour*
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda 

* denotes separating, as it is used multiple times in recipe

1. Mix: butter, sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla

2. Slowly mix one cup of milk with three cups of flour after adding the oil

3. Add the baking powder and baking soda

4. Add the final cup of milk and three cups of flour

The batter should resemble whipped cream. 

 Best irons to use: Model 1000, Model 1000T or Model 7500
