Cristy's Pizzelles
Yields approximately 12 dozen pizzelles.
- 2 cups butter
- 4 cups sugar
- 12 eggs
- 1 fl. oz. Pure Anise Extract
- 1 fl. oz. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 9 cups flour
- pinch of salt
1. Mix butter and sugar until well blended
2. Add in eggs, Anise and Vanilla
3. Add baking soda and flour
The mix should be the consistency of a drop of cookie dough.
Best irons to use: Model 1000, Model 1000T or Model 7500
