 Breakfast Waffles

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbl shortening

Beat eggs, add remaining ingredients and beat with hand mixer until smooth. Pour batter onto hot C. Palmer iron. Bake approximately two minutes, remove with fork ans sever hot with butter and syrup or whipped topping.

Best irons to use: Model 1130 or Model 1300T
